步兵之誓

我是一名步兵

我是我國戰爭中的主力,它和平時期的威攝力

我是戰鬥的核心,無論何時何地.

我背負著美國的信仰與榮譽來對抗它的敵人

我就是戰場之后.

我是我國期盼下受過世上最優秀訓練的士兵.

在贏得勝利的較量中,

我是敏捷的,堅毅的,並且勇敢的,具備強烈的鬥志贏得勝利.

我絕不讓我國家失去信心.

我會持續奮戰不懈,穿越敵軍到達目標,直至完全的凱旋.

如果必要,我將力戰至死.

因為我屹立不搖的勇氣,我贏得了兩百年的自由.

對於虛弱,飢餓,膽怯,疲憊,敵我懸殊時我絕不退縮.

因為我精神剽悍,身體強健並且思想剛直.

我不會背棄我的國家,我的任務,我的同袍,我神聖的義務.

我是堅韌的

現在到永遠,我會總是存在.

我是一名步兵

I am the Infantry.

I am my country's strength in war 
her deterrent in peace.
I am the heart of the fight-
whereever, whenever.
I carry America's faith and honor
against her enemies.
I am the Queen of Battle.

I am what my country expects me to be 
the best trained soldier in the world.
In the race for victory
I am swift, determened, and courageous,
Armed with a fierce will to win.

Never will I betray my country's trust.
always I fight on-
through the foe,
to the objective,
to triumph over all,
If necessary, I will fight to my death.

By my steadfast courage,
I have won over 200 years of freedom.
I yeild not to weakness,
to hunger
to cowardice,
to fatigue,
to superior odds,
for I am mentally tough, physically strong,
and morally straight.

I forsake not-
my country,
my mission,
my comrades,
my sacred duty.

I am relentless.
I am always there,
now and forever.

I AM THE INFANTRY!
